Unfortunately, that type of thinking can never be written down. It seems that you feel overwhelmed by the outside direction that forces you to think in a certain way. You are thinking about the thinking more than you are thinking about the subject itself.

In case you have been denied twice - either with your own proposal or with your application for a Master thesis - please contact the Department Head Accounting & Finance: Prof. Dr. Christoph Kaserer, christoph.kaserer@tum.de. In cooperation with the involved chairs, he will assist you in finding an adequate master thesis topic for you.

You are thinking about the thinking more than you are thinking about the subject itself. We often feel like we are wasting our writing by simply writing things out which do not directly relate to the thesis, but sometimes it's a good idea to free write (free think onto paper) to learn where you really go with the subject.

The time between defining the topic and the official start of the thesis should as a rule not take longer than 4 weeks. The registration of the thesis should be done in this time frame at the Grade Management TUM-School of Management (Noten- und Prüfungsverwaltung der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaften).
